Queen's Women in Leadership (QWIL) is a student-run club within the Queen's University Community. For the aspiring leaders of today, QWIL works to connect, inspire and educate. We strive to empower women to reach their full potential and challenge people of all genders to engage in the conversation surrounding equity.

We are so excited to announce the March Hiring timeline and information for the Queen’s Women in Leadership (QWIL) 2025/26 Executive Team! We are accepting applicants from all years and faculties.

You can read our hiring package, submit your application, and book an interview timeslot on ComSoc Shop starting March 8th until March 15th at 11:59pm.

We look forward to meeting the 29th QWIL team! ✨

On March 2nd, QWIL hosted University Women in Leadership (UWIL), a virtual event that brings together students from female leadership clubs across Canada. The event was designed to foster learning, resource sharing, and meaningful networking among future leaders.

This year’s theme, “You Will,” was all about shifting our perspectives from doubt to confidence - moving from “I don’t know if I can” to “I will achieve this” mindset. The event featured a 30-minute keynote and Q&A session to inspire attendees, followed by engaging discussions to encourage reflection and positive self-talk.

Thank you to GWIL, UofT WIL, and WWIL for joining yesterday's conversation. We are excited for the continued collaboration and connection of the UWIL network. 💫

In honour of Black History Month, QWIL wanted to take the opportunity to highlight student voices across campus. They were all asked: What Does Black History Month Mean To You? Hear from Yisraella Aleba, Ore Maxwell, Aluel Achiek, Mujeedat Lekuti, Anais Gouati, Tyra Obadan, Tori Jones, Kaëlle Vainqueur, Favour Okoh, Hailey Ngozi, Kimberley Saira, Nandi Edwards, and Destiny Evbuomwan as they speak about what BHM means to them!

As said in the video, “Take a few moments to reflect on who you are, why you’re here, and how your excellence can be seen and illuminated in your journey”.

Queen’s Women in Leadership is beyond excited to announce our 2025/2026 incoming Co-Chairs, Emma Moriarty and Riya Pathak.

With their experience, passion, and leadership we are excited to see where they take QWIL next. We know it could not be in better hands, and you’ll both do a phenomenal job.
