Queen’s Women in Leadership was founded in 1996 as a Women in Financial Markets conference aimed to inspire and empower women to work towards successful careers in this field. Over the years, QWIL has evolved to be much more than just a finance conference, becoming a vehicle for equity-seeking work both within and beyond the Queen’s campus, expanding to involve individuals across faculties, universities, and genders.

 

This coming school year, we hope to positively impact the Queen’s community through the facilitation of education, the provision of student support, and by reaching beyond the Queen’s environment to engage communities across Canada.
